New Reward Scheme ‘Essex+’ opens
Essex + Reward Scheme
Ambitious Essex has just announced the launch of the Essex+ Reward Scheme, which aims to encourage better customer relationships, boost community engagement, and ultimately help increase sales for businesses across the Essex high streets.
In line with the Levelling Up Essex agenda, Essex+ is currently being piloted in Basildon, Braintree, Brentwood, Castle Point, Chelmsford, and Maldon. The free scheme is open to retail, hospitality, leisure, and cultural businesses in these areas, as well as market traders and pop ups.
Essex+ aims to reward customers for supporting local businesses, and in turn strengthen the high streets. By signing up to Essex+, businesses will be part of a council-led initiative to strengthen customer relationships and boost sales, and have full control over the rewards offer and can decide how Essex+ will work for your business.
The new scheme allows customers to use one loyalty account/card with multiple Essex businesses, and businesses can set up your own promotions and incentives.
Essex+ businesses will have free access to the loyalty platform and marketing suite, Piggy, until 31st March 2023 – and through the platform the participating businesses will be able to set up their own promotions and incentives, and then reach their customers more effectively to shout about them. They’ll also be able to benefit from the ability to access a range of marketing tools and data about their customers.
The features include:
📧 Promotional email and newsletter templates
📣 Broadcasting system to deliver campaigns
📈 Data insights on footfall, customer behaviour, and buying trends
Reward programmes such as Essex+ are extremely important for building customer relationships and to keep them coming back. In fact, 77% of consumers say reward schemes increase the likelihood of them returning to a brand. Loyalty customers are likely to make another purchase after receiving an incentive. This means more customers through the door, and more money in the till!
