Congratulations Capture House, Business of the Year at the 2024 Uttlesford Business Awards!

Backing Essex Business are proud to have sponsored the highly anticipated Business of the Year award at this year Uttlesford Business Awards – signifying our commitment to supporting and celebrating entrepreneurs and businesses with Uttlesford and wider Essex. On Thursday 29th February 2024, the winners of each award category at the Uttlesford Business Awards were revealed at the closing ceremony – shining a light on all the different and wonderful businesses that enrich the area.

The Business of the Year award is one that all businesses who enter a category for the Uttlesford Business Awards were entered in to this year – meaning the shortlist was a hefty one, naming approximately 50 businesses! Included were businesses big and small, new and years long established – making guessing who might take the first prize home, a very hard question indeed.

After all the other award winners were announced, it was time for the Business of the Year title – which was presented by Business Advisory Manager Patrick Maynard from Backing Essex Business!

The winner? Capture House!

Patrick Maynard presented the Business of the Year award 2024 to Andy Coleman from Capture House

Based in Great Dunmow, Capture House was established in 2015 – founded by two friends Jordan Bright and Andy Coleman. Their mission is to support emerging talent with fresh ideas and dynamic content – with their team growing exponentially in the last few years.

Serving big and small businesses, they’ve gained an impressive portfolio for their creative works in photo and video – from working with Cadburys, Samsung, Pepsi Max to name a few! Even with these huge client names, they’re still focused on lifting up small brands and start up businesses – offering a ‘Start Up Initiative’ that gives money off to new businesses for their first invoice from Capture House. As well as this, for each referral their receive, they donate £25 to charity – meaning that as well as creating great content, they’re doing good in our communities too!

Congratulations to Capture House for scooping up the 2024 Business of the Year award, and well done to all the businesses shortlisted – we’re already anticipating a bigger and better awards season next year!
