Get Set Grow II Business Support Programme

If you're a business owner in Brentwood Borough or Rochford District, whether you're just starting out or already established, the GET SET GROW programme is here to help. This programme is open to all businesses, regardless of your trading status—be it Sole Trader, Limited Company, or Community Interest Company (CIC). Best of all, it's completely FREE to join, thanks to full funding from UKSPF.

GET SET GROW is delivered by a team of award-winning business coaches from The Consortium. They offer a unique blend of group business coaching (don't worry, you won’t be placed with a competitor) and private one-to-one mentoring. This programme wraps up with an exciting opportunity to enter ‘The Big Pitch’ competition.

Your journey with GET SET GROW begins with your cohort (a group of up to 10 businesses), meeting virtually via zoom. Each group session, led by a business coach, will last 2 hours. Over a period of 6 to 7 weeks, you'll participate in four sessions held on regular days and times. In addition, you'll have the chance to book 1.5 hours of private one-on-one coaching (also via zoom). You can choose to take this time in one 1.5-hour block or split it into two 45-minute sessions, scheduled at your convenience.

The first cohort kicks off in September 2024 and runs through to January 2025. In March 2025, we’ll host another exciting Big Pitch event, where the top business plans from each group will compete for a theoretical £10,000 investment.
